Dear Trio Abstrakt friends,

2025 is already behind us, and we can’t stop thinking about what an incredible year it was! Alexandre joined us as our new percussionist and together we gave 14 concerts across 6 different countries, premering a total of 8 new pieces, including works by Alberto Posadas and Isabel Mundry.

The three of us have had so much fun sharing the stage together, and we are very much looking forward to sharing these pieces with you soon.

We are starting 2026 with our first concert this January 18th at the Frakzionen Bielefeld, featuring a world premiere by Macarena Rosmanisch alongside a repertoire favourite, “Durch” by Mark Andre. This year, in addition to performing some of the repertoire we premiered last year, we will present new works by Frank Bedrossian, Günter Steinke, Jieun Jeong, Milicia Djordević, Ramon Lazkano, and Wei-Chieh Lin, and more.

In March, we will have a concert tour and workshop series in Southeast Asia, Manila, Singapore, and Bangkok, and as well as a residency in the United States at Harvard University with the Harvard Group for New Music. It’s hard to imagine it getting any crazier or fuller than this.

It’s fair to say that 2026 will be a very full year, packed with music. We’ll keep you updated through our social media channels and our new NEWS feed on our website.
